Edgemaster #108 Cigar Jack 1950s Vintage Caramel swirl switchblade knife

Vintage Edgemaster model 108 cigar switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI between 1947 and 1954. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 5 13/16 inches open with brass liners, steel button & nickel silver safety & pins. Blade is 99% full or better with original factory finish and is stamped Edgemaster USA on the tang. The Caramel swirl synthetic scales are in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered closed, opens fully but does not lock open and I'm pretty sure that it never did when new. The blade won't open quite far enough to lock, so it's a factory flaw.  Safety works. EX+ condition.
