Vintage EDGE CO KIT KNIFE Original Spring & brass pin in package! This is an original spring and pin with instructions in a sealed plastic zipper bag that would have come with an Italian Kit Knife likely sold by Edge Co in the 1980s or 90s. The knives were shipped with the spring separate for legal reasons and the new owner installed the spring using the brass pin through two brass lined holes in the scales and peened in place to secure the kick spring. Rare to find these intact and unopened with instructions! I have a few of these available as well as some extra NOS springs. Spring works in 9 inch Italian stiletto style knives.
