Crown Scimitar 21cm Italian ERN Swivel bolster Red Pearlex vintage automatic knife

Crown Scimitar 21cm Italian ERN Swivel bolster Red Pearlex vintage automatic knife made in Italy in the 1980s or 90s for export to Germany to be sold through C Friedr Ern & Co, SOLINGEN. The knife measures 21cm (8.25 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with brass liners  with 2 steel bolsters & safety cap and 2 nickel silver bolsters (bottom) and button. The flat grind blade is 99% full, or better with original finish with light scratches and the ricasso is stamped with outlines of a Crown over a Scimitar which is a marking used by C Friedr ERN & Co of SOLINGEN, Germany which also explains the slightly shorter blade made that way to comply with German knife laws. The Red Pearlex scales are very attractive and in excellent condition. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. EX condition.
