Vintage Snappy keychain switchblade knife made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s and it was designated the model #1600CB. . You can tell it's a later one by the large domed button and bolsters which makes it a 4th generation knife made between 1955 and 1958. The knife measures 2.5 inches closed and 4 5/16 inches open with brass liners, steel button and nickel silver safety. The saber ground clip blade is full and stamped SNAPPY COLONIAL PROV USA  Part of the COLONIAL & PROV is missing from the stamp because it was lost when they cut in the locking groove. The blade is 100% full and retains some of the original factory finish with some light spotting and a few light scratches. The Rootbeer colored synthetic scales are in excellent condition with minimal shrinkage. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep, good snap and very good lock up with a little over 1/8" movement at the tip. Safety works. VG+ condition.
