Vintage Snappy keychain switchblade knife made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s. You can tell it's a late one by the large domed aluminum button and bolsters. The blade is clearly stamped SNAPPY COLONIAL PROV USA and it was designated the model #1600CB. The knife measures 2.5 inches closed and 4 3/8 inches open with brass liners, steel bolsters & safety and aluminum button. The saber grind clip blade is 99% full and retains most of the original factory finish. The synthetic scales are rootbeer colored and they are in very good condition with no cracks, or shrinkage. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep, good snap and locks up with about 1/16' up and down at the tip. This is a very nice example. Safety works. EX+ condition.
