Vintage Colonial SHUR SNAP Jumbo jack switchblade knife made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s and designated the model #3301. This knife is the largest switchblade made by Colonial measuring 5 inches closed and 8.75 inches open with brass liners & button and steel bolsters & safety. The saber grind clip blade is 100% full with all of the original finish and the tang is stamped SHUR-SNAP COLONIAL PROV USA. The Yellow synthetic scales are in very good condition with the usual shrinkage at the bottom on both sides and slight shrinkage on the edges. Works well with blade tip deep & centered closed, good snap, opens fully and very good lockup with less than 1/16" up and down at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. EX+ condition.
