COLONIAL SHUR-SNAP Jumbo Jack #3301 Yellow vintage 1950s switchblade knife

Vintage Colonial SHUR SNAP Jumbo jack switchblade knife made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s and designated the model #3301. This knife is the largest switchblade made by Colonial measuring 5 inches closed and 8.75 inches open with brass liners. The blade is stamped SHUR-SNAP COLONIAL PROV USA and is 97% full with lots of light scratches and some spotting, overall a good blade. The Yellow synthetic scales are in good condition with shrinkage at the bottom on both sides, as most do. Works well with blade tip seating even with liners closed, opens fully and good lockup with about 1/16" up and down at the tip. Safety works. VG+ condition.
