COLONIAL SHUR SNAP Fishtail Yellow NOS Vintage switchblade bowtie knife

Vintage Shur Snap NOS bowtie (fishtail with finger guards) switchblade with white synthetic scales. This knife is New Old Stock and has never been used to cut anything. The knife was made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the early 1950s, likely 1952-55 and designated the model #1800CB. It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open and has brass liners and steel bolsters & button. The tang is stamped SHUR SNAP over COLONIAL over PROV USA. We can tell it's a 3rd generation knife by the small domed button and bolsters. The Gorgeous Carbon Steel Saber grind blade is full with all of the factory finish and some light marks from storage, opening a few times. The yellow colored synthetic scales are in nice condition with some shrinkage.
