COLONIAL SHUR SNAP Fishtail White NOS Vintage switchblade
COLONIAL SHUR SNAP Fishtail White NOS Vintage switchblade
Vintage Shur Snap NOS fishtail switchblade with white synthetic scales. This knife is New Old Stock and is from my Kansas find about 15 years ago. The knife was made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s, likely 1956-58 and designated the model #1800B. It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open and has brass liners. The tang is stamped SHUR SNAP over Colonial over PROV USA, but the stamp is weak, as many of these late production knives seem to have. We can tell it's a later 4th gen knife by the large domed button. The Gorgeous Carbon Steel Saber grind blade is full with all of the factory finish and some light marks from storage, opening a few times. The white colored synthetic scales are in nice condition with no shrinkage. Operates well with blade tip sitting deep when closed, good snap and good lockup with just a little up and down at the tip as some did even when new. Safety works. EX++ New Old Stock condition. 100% money back guarantee including return shipping if you're not happy with this knife.
