This is a Colonial SHUR-SNAP fatjack switchblade with Gray Red swirl synthetic scales. The knife was made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the early/mid 1950s. This knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches open with brass liners. The blade is 99% full with original factory finish and has lots of light scratches and a little bit of active rust. Could be professionally cleaned to look really nice. The Gray/Red swirl synthetic scales are in very good condition with no cracks, but do have slight shrinkage and show signs of handling with Lanyard ring. The knife works great with blade tip seating deep, strong snap and fair lockup with about 3/16" up and down at the tip when open. Does rattle if shaken when open. The safety works properly. VG+ condition.
