Colonial SHUR-SNAP Cigar Jack Orange swirl Saber clip blade automatic knife

Colonial SHUR-SNAP Cigar Jack Orange swirl saber clip blade automatic knife from late 1940s or early 50s. It was made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI it was designated the model #1700 BX and measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 6 inches open with brass liners, steel bolsters & button and nickel silver safety. The saber grind clip blade is 99% full with much of the original factory finish intact with lots of light scratches from sharpening and use and is stamped SHUR-SNAP COLONIAL PROV USA. The Orange swirl synthetic scales are in nice condition with just a little shrinkage on the edges. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners closed, good snap and very good lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken when open. Safety works. EX- condition.
