Colonial PRONTO Fatjack Blue Swirl 1950s swirl switchblade knife
Vintage Colonial PRONTO fatjack switchblade with Blue swirl synthetic scales. The knife was made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI around 1950 and was only made for about 2 years until they changed the name stamped on this model from PRONTO to SHUR SNAP. This knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and just over 7 inches open with brass liners. The blade is full with original factory finish and is stamped PRONTO COLONIAL PROV USA. The attractive synthetic Blue swirl scales are in very good condition with one well done crack repair at the top of the front scale and slight shrinkage. The knife works great with blade tip seating Deep and centered, strong snap and really good lockup when the blade is open. The safety works properly. Safety works. EX++ condition.
