Colonial JIFFY Fatjack Firebrick swirl Vintage American switchblade knife

Colonial JIFFY Vintage Fatjack Firebrick swirl switchblade knife made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI most likely between 1948 and 1951. It measures 4 1/8" closed and 7 1/8" open with brass liners & button with nickel silver safety and steel lanyard ring. The clip blade is 99% full with much of the original factory finish intact and is marked JIFFY COLONIAL PROV USA on the tang. The synthetic scales are an attractive firebrick swirl of color, mainly shades of  red with white swirls. The handles (scales) are in good condition with some shrinkage and a repaired crack between the button and top pin and has lanyard ring at the back (bottom) of the knife. Works great with blade tip even with the liners when closed, strong snap and good lockup with just a tiny bit of movement at the tip each way. Safety does not work. VG condition.
