z CASE 61214 1/2 Scout Vintage switchblade knife WR CASE & Sons

Vintage CASE 61214 1/2 Scout switchblade knife WR CASE & Sons made under contract by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT for Case in between 1938 and 1943. The knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and 7 inches open with steel liners and bolsters with nickel silver button & safety. The clip blade is 94% full and shiny with light scratches and the tang is stamped with the circle C CASE stamp on the front and 611214 1/2 on the backside. The jigged bone scales are in very good condition with one small repair on the back scale by the bolster that's nicely done. The knife works great with blade tip well below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup with about 1/16" movement at the tip open. Does rattle if shaken with blade open, as most of these do that have seen use. Safety works. VG+ condition.
