C JUL HERBERTZ PATENT IMPORT 22cm Italian fishtail all metal automatic knife

Vintage C JUL HERBERTZ PATENT IMPORT 22cm Italian fishtail all metal automatic knife measures 21.87cm (8 9/16 inches) open with steel liners and safety with nickel silver button. The flat grind swedge blade is 99% full or better with original factory finish and some very light scratches. The silver colored metal handles have a nice pattern lightly stamped into the surfaces that shows almost no wear from handling. The knife works well with blade tip deep and centered closed, good snap and Tight lockup. Most likely exported to Germany and sold through Linder in the 1970s or 80s. Safety works. EX+ condition.
