Vintage C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT 28cm Italian Stag Transitional Swivel bolster switchblade knife. Most likely made in the 1960s or early 70s this knife measures 27.7cm (10 15/16 inches) open with D Stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, button & safety cap. The flat swedge blade is full and shiny with original finish and a few light scratches. The ricasso is stamped C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT and the reverse is stamped ROSTFREI. Genuine stag scales have a lot of character and are in excellent condition with no cracks. Knife works well with blade tip seated deep in the well closed, strong snap and TIGHT lockup. Push down on right front finger guard to pivot (swivel) the bolster to release the blade so it can be closed. Safety works. EX+ condition
