New Old Stock C. Jul Herbertz IMPORT 20cm Italian Transitional Stiletto Black switchblade knife from 1970s found in a box in Italy along with several others that had been in storage for nearly 50 years! It measures 20.2cm (7 15/16 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The flat grind swedge blade is 100% full with the original finish intact with some very light scratches and the ricasso is stamped C. JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT on the front and ROSTFREI on the reverse. Genuine buffalo horn scales are in very good condition with one tiny bug bite and has Red Dot safety. The front scale is mostly black with a little tan & white streak and a bug bite by the safety and the rear has black, translucent green, tan and cream. The knife works well with blade tip deep and centered in the well, strong snap and tight lockup. Does NOT rattle if shaken with blade open. Swivel bolster so you close by pushing down on the right front finger guard which swivels the bolster to release the blade. Because it's NOS the guard is still stiff like when new. Safety works. NOS condition with signs of being stored for nearly 50 years.
