C. Jul Herbertz IMPORT 18cm Italian Transitional Stiletto Black switchblade knife from 1970s measures 17.7cm (7 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The flat grind swedge blade is 100% full with the original finish intact with some light scratches and the ricasso is stamped C. JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT on the front and ROSTFREI on the reverse. Genuine buffalo horn scales are black with just a little light streaking on the back and in very good condition with no cracks or bug bites and has Red Dot safety. The knife works well with blade tip deep and centered in the well, strong snap and tight lockup with just a hint of movement each way at the tip. Does NOT rattle if shaken with blade open. Close by pushing down on the right front finger guard which swivels the bolster to release the blade. Safety works. EX+ condition.
