C. Jul Herbertz 21cm Italian Transitional Stiletto Horn Vintage 1960s NOS automatic knife

Vintage NOS C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT 21cm Italian Skunk Horn Transitional Swivel bolster switchblade knife most likely made in the 1960s or early 70s. This knife came from a box of Herbertz switchblades found in Italy that were New Old Stock. This knife measures 20.4cm (8 1/16 inches) open and 4 3/8 inches closed with D Stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolsters and button & safety cap. The flat swedge blade is 100% full and shiny with a few tiny scratches and ricasso is stamped C JUL HERBERTZ IMPORT and the reverse is stamped ROSTFREI. Genuine horn scales are in excellent condition and Skunk (black with white in the middle and have a Red Dot safety. Knife works well with blade tip seated deep in the well closed, strong snap and very good lockup with just a hint of movement each way at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Push down on right front finger guard to pivot (swivel) the bolster to release the blade so it can be closed. Safety works. New Old Stock E++ condition.
