C JUL HERBERT ROSTFREI 18cm Italian Transitional Stiletto Stag Red Dot automatic

Vintage C JUL HERBERT ROSTFREI 18cm Italian Stag Transitional Swivel bolster switchblade knife most likely made in the 1960s or early 70s in Italy. This knife measures 17.7cm (6 15/16 inches) open and 3 7/8 inches closed with non D Stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, button & safety cap. The flat grind blade is 99% full and shiny with a few light scratches and the ricasso is stamped C JUL HERBERT ROSTFREI and the reverse is stamped with a l. This is a slightly different stamp than most of these that you see and unusual that the liner isn't D Stamped. Genuine stag scales have character and are in excellent condition with no cracks and Red Dot safety. Knife works well with blade tip seated below the liners closed, strong snap and excellent lockup with just a hint of movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Swivel bolster so you push down on right front finger guard to pivot (swivel) the bolster to release the blade so it can be closed. Safety works. EX condition
