Butterfly MF FM MANIAGO 18cm Italian Tourist Bo/Bc vintage automatic knife

Vintage Butterfly MF FM MANIAGO 18cm Italian Tourist Bo/Bc automatic knife made in Italy by Marino Farfalli in Maniago post 1960. These knives were made for the Italian tourist trade and sold as souvenirs to tourists. The knife measures just under 18cm and just over & inches open and 3 7/8 inches closed with steel liners, bolsters, button & safety. The Clip swedge blade is 99% full or better with most of the original finish with light scratches from sharpening/use and the ricasso is stamped with a Butterfly and in the wings are the letters MF & FM over MANIAGO. The hollow metal scales appear to be covered with a Silver Foil wrap and are very attractive. The knife works well with the blade tip centered and below the liners closed, good snap and very good lockup open with about 1/16" movement at the tip open. Barely rattles if shaken hard with blade open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
