Bullfighter Dragon 19cm Mexican Light Blue Souvenir lever switchblade knife
Bullfighter Dragon 19cm Mexican Light Blue Souvenir lever switchblade knife
Exceptionally nice vintage Bullfighter Dragon 19cm Mexican Light Blue Souvenir lever switchblade knife made in Japan for the Mexican tourist trade between the late 1950s and into the 1970s. These were very popular with tourists and were made in three different sizes with different blade shapes, different colors and some variations on the scenes. A lot of fun to collect. This knife is the most common size measuring 19cm (7 7/16 inches) open with steel liners and brass bolsters, lever and lanyard ring. Less common Light Blue background with gold dragon on the front and bullfighter/ Matador scene on the back and the word MEXICO. The flat grind clip blade is marked STAINLESS STEEL and is full with original factory finish intact. The knife works well with the blade tip below liners and centered closed, opens fully and locks open with approximately 1/8 inch up and down at the tip that springs back when you let go as many of these do. Tight, does not rattle if shaken when open. EX+ condition.
