Bullfighter 19cm Red Gold Vintage Mexican Souvenir lever switchblade

Vintage Bullfighter lever knife made in Japan for the Mexican tourist trade between the late 1950s and into the 1970s. These were very popular with tourists and were made in three different sizes with different blade shapes, different colors and some variations on the scenes. A lot of fun to collect. This knife is the most common size measuring 19cm (7.25 inches) open with steel liners and brass bolsters, lever and lanyard ring. The flat grind clip blade is 100% full and shiny with factory finish and stamped STAINLESS STEEL along the blade spine on the front. Red background with gold dragon on the front and bullfighter/ Matador scene on the back, both covered in clear acrylic and in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip deep in the well closed, good snap and excellent lockup. Knife does not rattle if shaken when open as many of these do. Very cool vintage red Mexican souvenir automatic lever knife. EX+ condition.
