Vintage Bonsa SOLINGEN GERMANY 10cm German Lever Shadow (no bolsters) Tortoise celluloid automatic knife. This is an unusual version with no bolsters (shadow knife) that measures 10.3cm closed and 18cm (7 1/8 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver (German silver) lever. The spear point blade is 100% full with most of the original finish with some very light scratches. Blade tang is stamped Bonsa SOLINGEN GERMANY, though hard to read and the reverse is stamped ROSTFREI. The scales (handles) are Tortoise celluloid and in very good condition with light scratches and handling marks and are held on with brass pins. The knife works well with blade tip just well below liners closed, good snap and good lockup with less than 1/8" movement at the tip the. No rattle if shaken with blade open. EX condition.
