This is a German lever knife with horn handles (scales) made by Bonsa, most likely before 1980. The knife measures a little over 10cm (4 1/8") closed and just under 7 inches open with steel liners and German silver bolsters. Hollow trapezoid cast lever. The blade is nearly full and shiny with a few light scratches and is marked Bonsa SOLINGEN GERMANY on the front and ROSTFREI in an arch over a leg kicking a ball on the rear. Works well with blade tip slightly above the liners when closed, good snap and good lockup. Nice old German Bonsa lever knife.
