BELL 22cm Japanese Rizzuto Style swing guard vintage automatic knife made in Korea

Vintage Rizzuto style Japanese 22cm swing guard automatic knife made in Korea in the 1970s. These knives were used in a lot of movies from the 1960s through the 90s and are therefore very popular with switchblade & movie enthusiasts. 

It measures 22cm (8 11/16 inches) open and 4.75 inches closed with steel liners, bolsters & guards and nickel silver plated button, safety cap and lanyard ring.

Blade: The bayonet style blade is 98% full or better and shiny with most of the original finish with some light scratches and scuffs. This is the most common size and the most common color, black, but it does have a less common marking on the tang, BELL with a picture of a Bell inside a diamond above it. 

Handles: The black synthetic scales are in great condition.

Function is good with the blade tip centered and below the liners closed, good snap and average lockup with about 3/16" down at the tip that springs back when you let go. The safety works. Nice example of a vintage "Italian style" movie prop switchblade with unusual blade markings. VG+ condition.
