BEGON INOX MODELE DEPOSE 20cm French Oval Button vintage automatic humpback knife most likely made in the 1960s in France. The knife measures 20.1cm (7.9 inches) open and 4 3/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, safety & lanyard ring with steel button. The flat spear point blade is 99% full, or better with original finish intact and some light scratches with the ricasso stamped BEGON INOX and the backside marked MODELE DEPOSE. The black checkered synthetic scales are in good condition with no shrinkage, but there is a hairline crack between the top of the button and the bolster. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners closed, good snap and Tight lockup. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Press hump on backspring to release blade to close. Safety works.
