BARON ROSTFREI 21cm Italian swivel bolster Black checkered automatic knife

Vintage BARON ROSTFREI 21cm Italian swivel bolster Black checkered automatic knife made in Italy likely for export to Germany post 1980. The shorter blade was needed to meet Germany's import restrictions at the time. The knife measures 21cm (8.25 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters & button and steel safety cap. The Fat spear point blade is 100% full with original finish with some light scratches and the ricasso is stamped BARON ROSTFREI. The scales (handles/covers) are black synthetic with crosshatch checker pattern and very good condition. The knife works well with blade tip deep & centered closed, strong snap and very good lockup open with less than 1/32" movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. EX condition.
