BARON ROSTFREI 21cm Italian Fishtail All Metal Vintage automatic knife

BARON ROSTFREI 21cm Italian All Metal Fishtail vintage switchblade knife measures 20.7cm (8 3/16 inches) open and 4 13/16 inches closed with steel liners, button and safety cap. The spearpoint blade is 99% full or better with original factory finish and some light scratches and the ricasso is stamped BARON ROSTFREI. The silver colored metal handles (scales) have a nice pattern lightly stamped into the surfaces that shows a little wear from handling, but mostly intact and there are two indentations, one in each scale that can be seen in the photos. The knife works well with blade tip even with the liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup with a hint of up and down that springs back. Does NOT rattle if shaken with the blade open. Most likely exported to Germany and sold through Linder in the 1970s or 80s. Blade made shorter to comply with German import regulations at the time. Safety works. EX- condition.
