BEGON INOX MODELE DEPOSE 20cm French Square Button vintage automatic humpback knife most likely made in the 1960s in France. The knife measures 20.2cm (7 15/16 inches) open and 4 3/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters & safety and steel lanyard ring & button. The flat spear swedge blade is 100% full with original finish intact and some light scratches with the ricasso stamped BEGON and the backside marked MODELE DEPOSE. The black checkered synthetic scales are in very good condition with no shrinkage. The knife works well with blade tip deep & centered closed, strong snap and Tight lockup. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Press hump on backspring to release blade to close. Safety works. EX+ condition.
