Nice French Bargeon automatic knife with finger guards on the bolsters. The knife is marked BARGEON INOX and measures 19 cm (7 3/8 inches) open with coined brass liners and brass safety cap. The flat grind swedge blade is mostly full with patina and light scratches. The black plastic scales are in excellent condition with just a little shrinkage. The knife functions well with the blade tip seating even with the liners, Strong snap and good lockup with some movement that snaps back when you let go as many of these do. The safety works. Nice old French Bargeon switchblade in near mint condition.
