B SVOBODA ITALY 28cm Italian Picklock 1950s Vintage Swedge automatic knife

Vintage B SVOBODA ITALY 28cm Italian Picklock Swedge & horn automatic knife made in Italy in the 1950s. The knife measures 27.7cm (10 7/8 inches) open and 5 15/16 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button & safety. The needle point flat swedge grind blade is 97% or better with much of the original finish intact with lots of light pits and the ricasso is stamped B SVOBODA ITALY. The horn scales (handles) are in very nice condition and mostly black, translucent green & cream streaking. The knife works well with blade tip deep and centered, strong snap and very good lockup open with  less than 1/16" of movement at the tip. Slight rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. EX condition.
