z Colonial SHUR-SNAP Bowtie White EX+ Gen 3 switchblade knife

Colonial Knife Co Shur-Snap bowtie switchblade. This is an early model made before 1955 in Providence, RI. We can date it by the characteristics of small domed button and bolsters. This knife measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners. The blade is full with all of the original factory finish intact. The scales are white and in excellent condition with minimal shrinkage near the bottom on each side as most of these do have over time. The knife works well, tip even with liners closed, good snap and tight lockup! Obviously this knife hasn't seen much use in the past 70 years and is a GREAT example! Safety does work. VG+ condition.
