Edgemaster Fatjack Maroon swirl vintage switchblade

Edgemaster fatjack red, maroon, pink swirl switchblade. This knife was made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940s, or early 50s and was designated the model #102. The knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and just under 7 inches open with brass liners. The blade is nearly full with a lot of the original factory finish still visible under some patina and light spotting from age and is marked Edgemaster in script over USA. The synthetic scales are in excellent condition with some light scuffs, a little shrinkage and one tiny hairline crack near the safety. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep, good snap and good lockup with a little movement each way as most of these old used switchblades do. Very nice working example of a vintage American fatjack switchblade.
