AK47 29cm Soviet 3 Star Vintage Swing Guard automatic knife

Vintage AK47 Soviet 29cm Swing Guard automatic knife measures 28.3cm (11 1/8 inches) open and 5 7/8 inches closed with steel liners, bolsters, guards and button. Most likely made in the Soviet Union this one is most commonly referred to as an AK47 knife. It was believed that they were hand made using parts from AK47 rifles, but I can't confirm this. Regardless, it's a very SOLID knife with a STRONG action that is supposedly adjustable with a threaded rod connected to the compression spring. The long clip blade appears to be full with original finish and has 3 Stars stamped into the face of the blade below the spine near the guards. The knife is mostly steel with wood inserts, supposedly from wood rifle stocks. The knife works GREAT with blade tip seating deep and centered, STRONG snap and very good lockup open with a tiny bit of movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Knob above button releases blade to be closed when lifted. EX+ condition.
