AGA CAMPOLIN 33cm Picklock Stiletto Black & brown streaked horn automatic knife measures 33.2cm (13 1/16 inches) open and 7 1/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and steel safety cap with yellow paint to mark it as the prototype in the group (would easily clean off). The bayonet style blade is 100% full and 5mm thick at the base with original finish with a few light scratches from opening and is stamped AGA CAMPOLIN on the ricasso. This is a New Old Stock knife from a stash of these 13 inch picklocks that were purchased direct from AGA Campolin when they were made about 20 years ago. This knife has a backspring (& base of blade) that measures almost 5mm wide. The genuine horn scales are very dark with some tan & cream streaks and in excellent condition and are held on by brass pins. These normally have nickel silver pins and less than 5mm wide backspring, so this one is a little special and was referred to as a Prototype by the person we bought it from. He said that Angelo Campolin would corroborate this. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep and centered, strong snap and Tight lockup. This is not an old picklock, but it's made very similar to the picklocks of the 1950s. Safety works. NOS nearly new condition.
