SHUR-SNAP Fishtail Black Stagged 1950s NOS Vintage switchblade knife

Shur Snap fishtail switchblade with Black imitation stag synthetic scales made by the Colonial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1950s, likely 1956-58 designated model 1800B. It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open and has brass liners. This is a New Old Stock knife that has never been sharpened or used that came from a stash found in Kansas about 17 years ago. The blade is 100% full with all of the original factory finish and the tang clearly stamped SHUR SNAP COLONIAL PROV USA. We can tell it's a later 4th gen knife by the large domed button. The Black  synthetic scales are in wonderful condition with no shrinkage.
