Schrade Cut Co Hunters Pride # G1543 3/4 bone Folding guard switchblade knife

Vintage Schrade Cut Co Hunters Pride # G1543 3/4 bone Folding guard switchblade knife made in Walden, NY. It measures 4 7/8 inches closed and 8 5/8 inches open with steel liners & bolsters and nickel silver guards, button and safety. The clip blade is 98% full and shiny with minor blems and is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the tang and back US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 and JUNE 6, 16 so it was made between 1916 and 1946. The jigged bone scales are very attractive and though they look like they could be original to the knife, they are not. They have been professionally replaced at some point in the knife's past. The knife works great with blade tip well below liners closed, strong snap and good lockup with just a tiny bit of movement at the tip open. Safety works. EX+ condition.
