RIZZUTO ESTILETO MILANO 11 inch Swing Guard Batwing Black Vintage automatic knife

RIZZUTO ESTILETO MILANO 11 inch Swing guard Batwing black vintage automatic knife made in Japan in the 1960s. These knives were used in a lot of movies from the 1960s through the 90s and are therefore very popular with switchblade & movie enthusiasts. This is the largest size that they made. These knives were made in Japan in the 1960s and 70s mostly and were inspired by Italian switchblades of the era. This knife measures just over 26cm (10 3/8 inches) open with steel liners, guards & bolsters and nickel silver button & safety cap. Flat grind swedge blade is full with most of the original factory finish and some light scratches and is stamped STAINLESS STEEL on the tang and RIZZUTO ESTILETO MILANO below the blade spine. The black synthetic scales are in good shape with lots of light scratches and handling marks. The knife works well with the blade tip seating below the liners closed, good snap and  very good lockup with very little movement open at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open.  Nice example of a vintage "Italian style" movie prop switchblade. The safety works. VG+ condition.
