QJD Rostfrei Italian 33cm 1960s Transitional Stiletto automatic knife green horn

Vintage 1960s Italian transitional stiletto marked Rostfrei and QJD in a circle on the front tang. The QJD is the mark of a French importer who purchased the knives from Italy to be sold in France. The knife measures 33.2cm (13 1/16 inches) open with brass liners & pins, steel front top bolster, button & safety and 3 nickel silver bolsters including top rear which has brass lined guards. Flat grind blade is full with original factory finish with some light scratches and is stamped QJD in a circle over Rostfrei. The horn scales are very in nice condition and are semi translucent green with a little streaking. The knife works great with blade tip seating deep and centered, strong snap and tight lockup. Nice old Italian transitional made for the French market. Safety works. Nearly new condition.
