Remington R8065 double automatic knife vintage 1940 etched

Remington R8065 double switchblade made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT most likely between 1938 and 1943. The knife measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons & safeties. Both blades stamped Remington on the front tang & big blade stamped R8065 on the rear. Blades are both mostly full (90-94%) still has most of the Remington Master Knife etch on the front of the big blade under heavy patina with some spotting and pitting, mainly on the small (pen) blade.  The scales are not original, but pretty well done black & yellow/green synthetic in good condition. The knife works well with both blades seating with tips even, or  a hair above the liners, good snap and good lockup and no kickback (where blade opens too fast for lock to catch and bounces back). Small blade has a little more up an down at the tip and a little side to side and rattles if shaken open. Both safeties work. G condition.
