440 B STAINLESS Frank B 28cm Italian 11 inch Swing Guard Woodgrain Micarta switchblade knife

Frank Beltrame 11 inch swing guard automatic knife with layered micarta scales made in the 1990s. Knife measures 28.1cm (11 1/8 inches) open with brass liners, nickel silver bolsters and steel guards, button and safety cap. Bayonet style blade is full with original finish and is stamped 440B Stainless on the ricasso. The scales are layered Micarta with woodgrain effect from shaping the scales. I spoke with Sara Beltrame and she verified that this is a FRANK B knife that was made in the 1990s and that they didn't make very many with these scales. Works great with blade tip just above liners closed, strong snap and tight lockup open. Does not rattle if shaken when open. Button presses quite hard, but should get better with use. The safety works. Nearly new condition!
