Nice old French ring pull release switchblade with worn red dot safety. This knife measures 22cm open (8 5/8 inches) and has brass liners and Nickel silver bolsters and button. The blade appears to be nearly full with lots of light scratches. The blade is marked CARTAILLR D&Co FRANCE LAME INOX. The black checkered scales are in fair condition with no cracks, but there is some shrinkage and someone tried to enhance the checkering on the back scale. The knife works well with the blade tip seated deep when closed, good snap and good lockup. Safety works. Good working model that would make a nice EDC (every day carry).
