Neat little gunstock lever knife with horn scales. This knife was probably made before 1960 in India and the shape is often referred to as "gunstock", though there are variations that have the same nickname. This one is a little smaller than most that I've seen measuring 4 inches closed and over 7.25 inches open with steel liners, aluminum bottom (back) bolsters and brass top guards and lever. The blade appears to be full with the tip very close to the end of the blade well when closed. The Buffalo horn scales are in nice condition as are the bolsters. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep closed, good snap and good lockup. These Indian switchblades were all hand made and though you'll often see very similar knives, they're pretty much all one-of-a-kind and a LOT of fun to collect!
