This is a 1950s Italian picklock marked M.I. ITALY inside a circle. The knife measures just under 22.5cm (9 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters button and safety cap. It has a bayonet grind blade that is mostly full at about 95% with heavy patina, scratches and spotting. The horn scales are in nice condition with no cracks or bug bites. The front being dark with a little streaking near the bottom and the rear scale mostly green with a little light streaking. The knife works great with blade tip seating deep and centered, strong snap and average lockup with some movement each way. Could be easily tightened a bit. Good example of a 1950s vintage Italian picklock.
