Eig Cutlery Italy 23cm Vintage picklock

This is a 1950s Italian picklock marked EIG CUTLERY ITALY. The knife measures just under 23cm (9 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters button and safety cap. It has a flat swedge grind blade that is nearly full with patina and a little light spotting. Very nice blade. The horn scales are very colorful with the front being dark with tan/cream streaks and the rear scale dark to green/cream streaks and are in very nice condition with one little bug bite on the rear scale near the top bolster. The knife works great with blade tip seating deep and centered, strong snap and tight lockup. Really nice example of a 1950s vintage Italian picklock.
