29 Vintage 22cm Italian Flat Guard Picklock Honey Horn automatic knife

29 Vintage 22cm Italian Flat Guard Picklock Honey Horn automatic knife from the 1940s or 50s. This knife measures 22cm (8 5/8 inches) open with brass liners (no D stamp) and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet blade is mostly full (about 94%) and shiny with some light scratches and I believe 29 stamped deeply into the ricasso, but hard to be certain since most of it is hidden behind the bolsters. Interestingly shaped locking tab. The buffalo horn scales are in excellent condition with the front scale color honey horn with cream and the back scale is black. Front scale might have been replaced, though the horn color was often mismatched from the makers. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered in the well closed, strong snap and tight lockup with just a little side to side at the tip. Safety works. EX- condition.
