23cm French Chatellerault Mother of Pearl 1850s manual picklock folding knife

French Chatellerault Mother of Pearl 1850s manual picklock folding knife measures 23cm (9 1/16 inches) open and 5 inches closed with coined brass liners and nickel silver bolsters and shield. This knife appears to be original, but has obviously been professionally cleaned at some point. The top bolsters are a little beat up, but not too bad. The swedge grind blade appears to be nearly full (about 98%) and shiny with no markings, most likely lost when the blade was cleaned. The Mother of Pearl scales (handles) are Gorgeous and in wonderful condition. Works well and locks open with a little movement at the tip. Wonderful condition for a knife that is likely 150 years old.
