Vintage German SPRINGER lever knife marked SOLINGEN CUTLERY BSVOBODA GERMANY. The knife measures 4.5 inches (11.5cm) closed and just under 8 inches open with steel liners and German silver bolsters and lever. The blade is nearly full with patina, light scratches and some peppering. The jigged bone scales are in excellent condition except for two small missing pieces of bone on the front. Could be easily filled. The knife works well with blade tip well below liners when closed, opens fully and good lockup when open. Good honest old German automatic lever knife.
