This is a German lever knife with Jigged bone handles (scales) marked F.A. BOWER over F.A. BOWER IMPORT CO GERMANY most likely before 1960. The knife measures a little over 10cm (4 1/8") closed and just under 7 inches open with steel liners and plated steel bolsters and a German silver lever. The front bottom bolster is dented and is stamped SPRINGER. The blade is mostly full with patina and a lot of light scratches. The jigged bone scales are dark with no cracks, or chips. Works well with blade tip below liners when closed, good snap and average lockup. Nice old German SPRINGER lever knife.
